Like I haven't been single-handedly spearheading the war effort back home for the last two years. This shit was literally my job. But just 'cause I'm not old as balls or whatever the hell people's problem with me is, somehow it's surprising.
There are a lot of us who don't come from places where young people have access to those kinds of positions. It makes us uncomfortable. I've been here for almost a year and it still times when it sets me on edge. You'd think we'd learn a little faster given how many young warriors, leaders, superheros and etc we have amongst our number but minds take time to adjust.
You rallied us, organised us and made the execution of it possible and the team out there were able to save Cassius and free us without too many devastating consequences as a result.
That should go some way towards making us question our instincts.
I can't help it if I'm not all TOUCHY FEELY like the rest of you! Everyone always wants to ~talk~ about shit here! But talking about shit! Doesn't make me feel better! It doesn't CHANGE anything! It's just dwelling on crap you can't do anything about!
Alright. Then try a different, less conversational approach to dealing with whatever you're dealing with. But don't do your friends the disservice of acting like nothing's wrong when you were recently involved in a very public fight, some of which is making the rounds on Cooltalk.
Let them take you out to do something fun. It's been a long few weeks, I'm sure they could use it as much as you could.
