[ it's almost resigned. almost genuinely sorry. but if it were as simple as posting to the network, rey would have done it. it's not about her ego; it's about the fact that catra won't accept platitudes, and rey knows beyond question that catra is never, ever going to be able to beat her like she describes.

rey doesn't assign herself a lot of value, but she knows the worth of her fighting skill like she knows what the sun feels like. ]
