It's more of an emotional thing. I hear it's different for everyone. I heard some people say they had to get super angry, or sad, or desperate, or scared.
[ Adora's right where she said she'd be, chilling against a wall near the entrance to the Safehouse. She'd thankfully managed to find a distance where she could wait without keeping any of the new Displaced from coming in and out.
Thankfully, she's looking more put together than she did when Catra left her at the Safehouse. She's managed to get some clothes that aren't the jeans and hoodie from the festival, wearing....weirdly enough, something that looks strikingly close to her clothes from home. A long-sleeved and form-fitting white shirt, and some gray stretchy pants. Clearly having no idea what to do with her newly short hair, it's been left brush back and out of the way. ]
[ Catra meanwhile, has been here a little longer than Adora. She's dressed in some fashionably-ripped black jeans, a black shirt and a red, faux-leather jacket. Her hair is shorter than when Adora last saw it, but not by that much-- she's had some time here to grow it out. Perhaps the biggest difference is that she's missing her face-plate, so some of her hair falls into her face, and someone has convinced her to wear shoes.
(It never lasts long. But she figures she should at least wear them to the safehouse, which is full of goody-two-shoes types ready to tell her off for deviating from the norm at the slightest notice.) ]
[ She starts, but Adora's words stop in their tracks as she takes in Catra's outfit. It suits her almost bizarrely well, a fashion more fitting than even the outfit she was used to seeing her best friend in.
RIGHT, ENOUGH STARING. ]
Hey! You've, uh... This world's fashion really suits you.
[ And then she's taking Catra's hand to drag her off, because otherwise, Adora's never going to get moving. ]
C'mon, I've got everything set up for us. You keeping the shoes on?
